This is off the beaten track route to see mountain in the north with less tourist. It takes you 7 day 6 night including 2 nights in Hanoi 2 nights in Puluong 1 night on Halong Bay cruise and 1 night in Ninh Binh.
Activities : city tour, trekking, cruising, kayaking, river boating.
Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up by a friendly local guide and transferred to your hotel.
After breakfast, you’ll be taken around the city by the local guide to learn more about Vietnamese people and history. The city tour this day contains these places : Government complex, temple of the literature, museum of ethnology and old quarter.
In the morning after the breakfast, you will be picked up to head deeper to the west of Hanoi by visiting Puluong nature reserve. It takes you 4 hours to get there and you will have 3 activities this day : trekking to villages of Thai people. Visiting Kho Muong Village which is hidden from the main road. Doing bamboo raft on a river.
There will be lots of waking this day so be ready for that!!!
The dinner is included at hotel and you will rest at Pu Luong retreat.
In the morning after breakfast, the guide will walk you around for one day to explore Pu Luong. There will be a lot of waking this day to visit villages and Hieu waterfall. It takes you 6 hours to day for the trekking time but it is worth it!

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up and drive to Ninh Binh. It takes you 3.5 hours to reach Bai Dinh pagoda – the biggest pagoda in Vietnam.
In the afternoon, you will have chance to do 500 step up to a viewpoint at Mua Cave and have a cycling tour around the village.
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at your hotel lobby to head to Halong Bay.
This day, you’ll see the beauty of Halong Bay which was recognized as a UNESCO heritage site in 1994. You embark the cruise at 12 and spend the day exploring the bay by visiting the Titov island where you can hike up 500 step to a viewpoint to admire the panoramic view of Halong Bay and go swimming on the beach. You will also do kayaking at Luon Cave.
In the evening, you’ll enjoy the happy hour, sunset pary, have dinner and take part in some activities on the cruise.
After breakfast, you’ll be taken out to explore Sung Sot cave which was found by the French in 1901. This magnificent cave is dry and it takes you 50 minutes to walk through it to admire the stalactite and stalagmite formed for millions of years.
You’ll check out the cruise at noon time and driven back to Hanoi.
